Diabetes CARE Closets
What is a Diabetes Care closet?
Emergency Bridge Supplies... It is always a devastating feeling to be left without supplies that are needed on a daily bases to help manage diabetes. We understand that many factors contribute to the lack of diabetes supplies for a period of time. Some of the most common incidences include financial inability, insurance or refill processing delays, and blood glucose monitoring increases suggested by primary care physicians. Whatever the reason may be, Diabetes CARE Collaborative has noticed a community need and has begun a project to provide free diabetes supplies to members of the community who may find themselves in a predicament. The gifts are to serve as a bridge between appointments, refills or alternative supply source security.
